Call for Applications (ASEAN-Korea Youth Summit) on 25-27 November 2020

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF), ROK in cooperation with the National Council of Youth Organization in Korea (NCYOK) and the AUN Secretariat is going to organize the ASEAN-Korea Youth Summit on 25-27 November 2020 via an online platform.

(AUN) Secretariat aim to bring together 110 student representatives from 10 ASEAN Member States and the Republic of Korea to discuss the policies, mechanisms, and instruments of ASEAN-Korea cooperation, including the implementation of the ROK’s New Southern Policy in the three dimensions; People, Peace, Prosperity. 
As programme requirement, students are requested to attend the orientation, break out group discussion, and ice-breaking session in the second week of October, as well as the pre-activities on 2, 23, 24 November 2020 and the official programme on 25-27 November 2020. Students will be engaged in the above sessions via online from their residences or any other places secured with internet connection.
The overview, including the program and the criteria of participating students and relevant documents, are attached herewith for your kind perusal.

MOGEF is pleased to provide USD150 for individual participant from Indonesia as a support cost. The said amount will be transferred to the student’s bank account after the end of the event. 

Nomination:
Students should be nominated by home universities first.

Required documents for selection process:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Motivation Letter
  • Academic transcript
  • TOEFL or IELTS, with minimum score of: TOEFL 550, IELTS 6,5, iBT 79
  • Recommendation letter from Faculty/school
