Invitation to Cross cultural Enginnering project (CEP) 2022 at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan

We are pleased to make an announcement about the implementation of SIT international program,  Cross cultural Engineering Project (CEP) 2022.  

This is an on site program at Omiya campus of SIT for the first time after 2 years!

This program has been one of the most popular programs at SIT among the students of SIT partner universities since its start as the participating students work together with students from various countries as a team.

They work together and play together which makes their relationship strong.

– There is a scholarship opportunity for participating students based on the screening result, so please submit all the documents by due date.

          80,000 JPY with 2.3 or above on GPA (JASSO scale)

           60,000 JPY with less than 2.3 on GPA (JASSO scale)

The rules and applied country change frequently, so please obtain the latest information.

Currently, all foreigners need visa to enter Japan though it may change in the near future.  SIT provides the necessary documents for visa application if necessary.

Please note that students need to be nominated by ITB

1. Academic Transcript
2. Recommendation Letter from Academic Advisor & Study Program (Please use this template);
3. Financial Guarantee Letter (Please use this template);
4. Health Guarantee Letter (Please use this template);
5. Recent CV
6. Applicants must possess a competent command of spoken and written English, which corresponds to:

• • A TOEIC score of at least 740
  • TOEFL (ITP/iBT/CBT) scores of at least 550/80/213,
  • An IELTS score of at least 5.5,
  • Other English certification that is equal/similar to the above Official Certificate of English Language Proficiency, such as TOEFL or IELTS (please refer to the list of university options for the English level required by each university) –
