SEA Coopetition 2021

Business Concept

Stakeholder Analysis

The SEA Coopetition aims to give students a platform where they can submit innovative project ideas for social enterprises to tackle problems in their countries and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. The programme is open for all students from any study programme enrolled at any member institutions of the SALT network. In total, there are three stages that students can go through and win angel funding up to 1000 CHF for their innovative business concept.

Stage 1: Students submit their innovative project idea by May 20, 2021 (EXTENDED). The guidelines for the project idea are stated in the business concept and stakeholder analysis (see appendix). After the submission, students are invited for an online interview to present their project idea. The result of the project selection will be communicated by June 15, 2021.

Stage 2:  Students will participate in the virtual bootcamp with international students from July 15 to 23, 2021 on the Zoom platform. Each team has a 20-minute presentation and 10-minute Q&A session. If a team has proven a sound business model, the winning team(s) will receive an award of 200 CHF (up to 3 teams).

Stage 3: Students who decide to enter stage 3 are scheduled to present their business concept during the third Connect-Us Conference on November 29, 2021 in Manila, the Philippines either physically or virtually.

Students can submit their project ideas including the business concept and the stakeholder analysis either by using the submission link (https://forms.gle/raoHquH3nMjYf1hWA) or send their documents directly to corinne.koepfli@fhnw.ch.
