2018 Summer Schools in Engineering at RWTH Aachen University.

 

Every year, RWTH Aachen University organize Summer Schools for students from all around the world. The programs are designed for undergraduate students of mechanical engineering or related subject areas, who want to experience German engineering and student life at one of Europe’s leading technical universities.

 

To encourage international student mobility and to promote cooperation between the RWTH International Academy and your institution, this year RWTH Aachen University are offering scholarships for the following Summer Schools:

Smart Electrical Power Systems (02.07.2018-13.08.2018)

 

These scholarships will be granted to highly qualified students from selected universities.

In 2018, a wide choice of Summer Schools in engineering will be offered throughout the months of June – August:

Six Sigma Quality Management (25.06.2018-13.07.2018)

Smart Electrical Power Systems (02.07.2018-13.08.2018)

Supply Chain Management and Logistics (09.07.2018-20.07.2018)

Automation and Simulation (09.07.2018-27.07.2018)

Production Technology meets Industry 4.0 (06.08.2018-24.08.2018)

The Scholarship offered by RWTH International Academy includes:

 

  • Lectures and laboratory courses
  • Course material
  • Excursions and social events
  • Accommodation
  • Breakfast and lunch on weekdays
  • Meals during social events
  • A local public transport ticket for the respective time

 

Please note:

 

  • Not included are particular travel expenses to and from Aachen.
  • A documentation of a health insurance policy for your stay in Germany is required.
  • Participants have to provide their own meals on weekends and in the evening and have a personal budget for their individual needs.

 

Requirements:

  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  2. Academic transcript
  3. TOEFL or IELTS, with minimum score of: TOEFL 550, IELTS 6,5, iBT 100
  4. Motivation letter

Please submit the requirements above to the International Relation Office ITB, Jalan Ganesha No. 17, Bandung due to 9 February 2018, at 14.00 WIB, for further selection process.
