Call for Participation in ASEAN Young SocialPreneurs Program (AYSPP) 2017

Global Engagement Office, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada is delighted to invite ITB students to participate in the event: ASEAN Young SocialPreneurs Program (AYSPP) 2017, which will be held in Yogyakarta – Indonesia, on September 15-19, 2017.

AYSPP is a biennial program held to present and introduce the concept of social entrepreneurship in our contemporary world and its context to regional economic stability. Through a week of interesting and exciting activities, it aims to provide deep understanding and support social entrepreneurship initiatives to students and youth of ASEAN member countries in order to help overcoming social problems in our society. The program includes a social business competition, a set of social entrepreneurship and business workshopscompany visits and excursions, as well as cultural activities.

UGM are inviting interested participants (16-30 years old) from a university or an organization in ASEAN countries to participate in a team of up to three (3) members and propose their social business idea. The best 20 groups will be selected, and fully accommodated to attend the grand final and a week of exciting programs in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The winners will be awarded a grant to start up the business or help fund the existing one. Registration is open from May 8 until June 11, 2017 through our website ayspp.fisipol.ugm.ac.id.
