New Zealand ASEAN Scholars

It  is  with a great  pleasure to  announce  that New Zealand  ASEAN  Scholars  (NZ-AS)  programs  has been open for round  selection 2014.  As  you may be  aware,  the  New Zealad  Ministry  of Foreign  Affairs and Trade  provides  a number  of scholarships  each  year  for  lndonesian  citizens  to  underlake  postgraduate  studies  at New  Zealand universities,  The NZ-AS  Awards  seek  to  make a substantial  conkibutron  to  ASEAN’s  development  by  providing oppoftunities  for  postgraduate  study  (i.e.  Postgraduate  Diploma,  Master’s degree and  doctorate/PhD)  in  New Zealand.  The New Zealand-ASEAN  Scholars  Awards  (NZ-AS)  are paft  of the  New  Zealand’s  official development assistance to  the  ASEAN  region Since  2011,  the  number of  scholarship  places allocated  for  lndonesia  has been increased  from  15  to 50  PT Austraining  Nusantara  has been appointed  as the  managing  service contractor  to  assist  with  the  NZ-AS Programme, including  promoting
the  scholarships  and managing the  selection  process.

As the  deadline  for  applicatlons  for  this  year’s  intake  is  fast  approaching  (22  April 2014).
