AIMS at KMUTT

KMUTT-AIMS Inbound Application for this incoming semester (2/ 2013: 6 January – 19 May 2014). Here are students’ eligibilities, application steps and important due dates to participate in AIMS @ KMUTT.

Eligibilities

1.     Be a full-time undergraduate student.

2.     Have successfully completed at least one year of academic study at your university.

3.     Be proficient in English. Have at least a score of IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 500 (paper based) or it equivalence.

4.     Have a strong interest in living in Thailand and are ready to accept cultural differences.

Application Steps

1.       Download KMUTT Incoming Exchange Application Form at <http://www.inter.kmutt.ac.th/KMUTT%20incoming_exch%20app%20form.doc>

2.       Find out or review the courses you may like to study during your time at KMUTT by consulting with your advisor. FYI, KMUTT international engineering programs are 1) Civil Engineering, 2) Computer Engineering, 3) Automation Engineering, 4) Electrical Communication and Electronic Engineering, 5) Environmental Engineering and 6) Chemical Engineering. Plus, the details of each program are attached herewith.

3.       Complete the Application Form and other required documents, by combining into 1 pdf, name it as (your name.pdf).

Later, submit to your International Office of ITB.

Your application which is nominated by ITB is only acceptable.

4.       Your university will then officially nominate applicants to KMUTT.

5.       If accepted, KMUTT will send a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to your university.

6.       Use LoA to apply for the Non-Immigrant Education Visa (Non-Ed) at the nearest Thai Embassy or consulate. This process will take about at least 2 weeks onwards.

7.       Prepare yourself and Fly to Bangkok. Welcome to KMUTT!

Important due dates for students

.      Submit the application form to KMUTT: 31 Oct 2013

.      Receive LoA: 22 Nov 2013

.      Apply for visa: 22 Nov 2013 onwards

.      Participate in the Orientation at KMUTT: 3-5 Jan 2014

.      Study: 6 Jan – 19 May 2014

  2. transcript
  3. TOEFL or IELTS, with minimum score of: TOEFL 550, IELTS 6,5, iBT 100
  4. Motivation letter (500-800 words)
