Universidad Politécnica de Madrid Virtual International Summer School

Cybersecurity, biomedical technology, clean energy, big data analytics and artificial intelligence are just some of the topics addressed at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid International Summer School. The courses will be delivered online in English or Spanish.

The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid will be holding its Virtual International Summer School organized by the Vice Rectorate for Academic Strategy and Internationalization from 21 June to 25 July 2021.

The 13 courses on offer are from one to four weeks long. Seven courses, specialized in the fields of Cybersecurity, Autonomous and Connected Vehicles, Biomedical Technology, Clean Energy, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence and Architecture, will be delivered in English. Another six courses, focusing on the Digital Ecosystem, Digital Technology, Architectural Workshops and Environmental Architecture, Risk Management and Technology Disasters and Highly Interdisciplinary Teams, will be delivered in Spanish.

These courses target undergraduate and postgraduate students from all over the world and will be delivered online, including videoconference classes and other online activities.

The UPM Virtual International Summer School aims to provide a different angle on the practical applications of the latest technologies in the real world. The aim is to encourage the participation of students from all five continents, offering an innovative technological and multicultural experience of internationalization despite the present circumstances with strict restrictions on mobility.
