DiscoverNUS and NUS ASEAN MASTER’S Scholarship Programme Semester 2 AY 2025-2026

National University of Singapore (NUS) is pleased to announce DiscoverNUS and NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship programme 2025 Semester 2 AY 2025-2026.

DISCOVER NUS
This program brings undergraduate students to study for one semester at NUS. DiscoverNUS students will receive a full tuition fee waiver and priority access to on-campus housing. Students may also be eligible for financial support to cover on-campus housing costs, which will be awarded based on demonstrated need. Students are financially responsible for getting themselves to Singapore and for other academic and personal expenses while at NUS.

Details:
– Be a citizen of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam
– Be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at a partner university (third year)
– Be in the penultimate year of your undergraduate studies (second last year)
– Possess outstanding high school/ pre-university qualifications
– Be proficient in English
– Be nominated by your home university

Nomination Process:
To sign up for the program, please prepare the following documents and apply through this form by 1 September 2025 (23.59 the latest):
1.Latest English official academic transcript (Not SIX)
2. English Proficiency Test (IELTS/TOEFL)
3. Application Documents
CV (as described here) which should include the following:
– Education history (name of high school and GPA, as well as current university GPA)
– Work, leadership and volunteer experience
– Extracurricular activities (e.g. clubs, sports, etc.)
– Academic awards or scholarships from high school and/or university
– Demonstration of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS)
– Additional useful information, if available, (e.g. languages, special talent or interests

NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship Programme
Students who participated in DiscoverNUS are eligible for an NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship, which covers full tuition fees. Eligibility is for the year of graduation and one additional year.

Students who receive the scholarship will have priority to subsidized on-campus student housing. They may also be eligible for financial support to cover on-campus housing costs, which will be awarded based on demonstrated need. Students are financially responsible for getting themselves to Singapore and for other academic and personal expenses while at NUS.

Admission into either part of the programme does not entitle students to stay beyond the period of study or to seek employment in Singapore. NUS has no authority to extend student visas or to grant work visas.
