1. Workshop Purpose
Tokyo Tech will sponsor the 12th Multidisciplinary International Student Workshop (MISW 2021), mainly for the graduate students in School of Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology, and School of Environment and Society in order to promote interactions across academic disciplines with overseas exchange students.

2. Workshop Outline
MISW 2021 will be held online on August 5-6, for the graduate students and Asia Oceania Top University League on Engineering (AOTULE) students to encourage innovation across disciplines via a research-based workshop and promote cross-cultural understanding. Participants are expected to present their own research or a related topic in oral presentation format and attend all sessions at the workshop. To encourage high quality presentations, all presentations are evaluated and awards are given for the best oral presentations. The best presentations from approximately 10 Tokyo Tech graduate students will be selected and invited to attend the AOTULE Student Workshop, which is scheduled to be held online by KAIST in Korea on 8-10 November, 2021. As there are many exceptionally talented students gathering from the Asia-Oceania area, it is a good opportunity for developing friendship, exchanging ideas and so on, through activities such as student workshop.
