Tohoku University Japanese Program (TUJP) Online & In-Person

Warm greetings from Tohoku University!

We are pleased to announce that the application for “Tohoku University Japanese Program (TUJP) Online & In-Person” is open now.

The programs contain the practical Japanese language, Japanese culture & society, and the exchange with the local students. All classes on TUJP-Online will be provided via Zoom Meeting secured by Tohoku University. We welcome both undergraduate and graduate students.

【 Online Beginner 】

• Date: May 15 – 26, 2023  (2 weeks)
• Time: 16:20-19:30 (JST)
• Credits: 2 ECTS equivalent
• Program Fee: JPY 40,000*

Application Deadline: 16th April, 11:59 p.m.(JST)
Admission  Notification Date: 20th April
Payment  Deadline: 25th April, 11:59 p.m.(JST)

【 Online Basic 】

• Date: June 5 – 16, 2023 (2 weeks)
• Time: 16:20-19:30 (JST)
• Credits: 2 ECTS equivalent
• Program Fee: JPY 40,000*

Application Deadline: 16th April, 11:59 p.m.(JST)
Admission  Notification Date: 20th April
Payment  Deadline: 25th April, 11:59 p.m.(JST)

【 In-Person 】

• Date: July 12 – August 8, 2023 (4 weeks)
• Credits: 6 ECTS equivalent
• Program Fee: JPY 150,000*

Application Deadline: 10th April, 11:59 p.m.(JST)

Admission  Notification Date:  24th April
Payment  Deadline: 24th May, 11:59 p.m.(JST)
