SIT Student Mobility Program Spring 2021

SIT mobility program and the application period for the upcoming Spring semester 2021.In the interest of the minimize the risk of infection of COVID-19, SIT decided to implement the Fall 2020 semester online. For the Spring 2021 semester, SIT haven’t decided how will implement,however,  SIT hope to hold the face to face program.
The programs that SIT are accepting the applications are: 

– Course Taking Sandwich Program (SDW) 

– Research Exchange Program (REP) See below for the details.

Program type
1) Course-taking Sandwich Program    

• For undergraduate and graduate students
• Course oriented program   
• From 1 semester to 2 semesters (1 year)　
• Over 100 courses conducted in English. (Also offers Japanese language course)

  Application Acceptance Period– Application/Nomination period:  October 1st – October 31st, 2020 
  

2) Research Exchange Program

Research-oriented program    

For Junior, Senior, & graduate students who have basic/good knowledge to conduct research work independently    

Flexible program duration (min. 8 days to max. 1 year)    

Over 250 laboratories.

Application Acceptance Period * SIT accept the application throughout the year for REP depending on the program starting date[Application periods for AY2021] 1st Entry (start in March, April ) :   

• October 1st – October 31st
• 2nd Entry (start in  May, June) :   December 1st – December 31st
• 3rd Entry (start in July, August) :  February 1st – February 28th 
• 4th Entry (start in September, October ) : April 1st – April 30th
• 5th Entry (start in  November, December)  : June 1st – June 30th
• 6th Entry (start in  January, February) : August 1st -August 31st 3)
