NUS Young Fellowship 2025
On-site Program Dates: June 23-27 2025
This week-long summer program is designed for penultimate-year undergraduates passionate about graduate studies and research. It offers a unique opportunity for collaboration, idea exchange, and expanding perspectives.
Programme Highlights
- Campus immersion at NUS, including guided tours of state-of-the-art research facilities
- Exposure to cutting-edge research in AI, Deep Tech, Biomedical Engineering,
- Environmental Sustainability, Social Sciences, and more
- Exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of some of Singapore’s iconic attractions
- Interactive workshops on the practical applications of Generative AI in research Insightful presentations by NUS PhD students and alumni, offering diverse perspectives on research and career pathways
Post-Programme Online Presentation
Four weeks after the on-site programme, participants will reconvene to present their project insights, particularly focusing on the impact of Generative AI in research.
Sponsorship
Each sponsored student will receive:
- S$600 stipend, disbursed upon successful completion of the programme
- Complimentary on-campus housing
- Full coverage of programme-related expenses

To sign up for the program, please prepare the following documents and apply through this application form by 3 March 2025 extended to 14 March 2025:
1. Latest English official academic transcript (Not SIX)
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
3. Reflective Essay (max. 1,000 words), addressing either: A research area of strong personal interest and its anticipated development, OR A significant social issue with personal insights on potential solutions.
4. English Proficiency Test (IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo)
5. Valid passport
6. Financial Guarantee Letter. Template here.

8. Recommendation Letter from Head of Study Program addressed to Head of Bureau of Partnerships ITB (free format)
*Only nominated applicant(s) will be notified by 17 March 2025.
Each nominated student submit an individual application (using their official university email address) via https://gradapp.nus.edu.sg/portal/app_manage, selecting “Nominated by University Leadership” under the question—Source of Information. The following documents are required:
