Nagoya University Short-Term Online Japanese Language Program（NUSTEP) for Summer 2022

The Nagoya University Online Short-Term Japanese Language Program (NUSTEP) provides two weeks of intensive Japanese classes. Participants will join interactive Japanese  language training classes, specialized lectures in the natural sciences and humanities, also visit laboratory facilities online. They also encounter Japanese culture and society, socialize with Nagoya University  students and people in communities and complete a short research project. Although all classes are online, they are interactive.

Completing the program, participants obtain a certificate.

Program period: July 21 – August 3, 2022

Application period: May 30- June 17, 2022

Main curriculum:

• Intermediate Japanese language classes: Including 90 minutes by 16 classes for total 24 hours
• Laboratory facility visit
• Specialized lectures
• Study of Japan: about Kado（華道）, Rakugo（落語） etc.
• Online tours: Arimatsu / TOYOTA museum
• Online Home Visit
• Exchange and discussions with Nagoya University students
• Exchange session with NU graduates who are working in Japan

Participation fee: 30,000 JPN YEN
