For Students: Invitation to Attend the ASEAN University Student Network (AUSN) Annual Meeting 1/2021 on 25 August 2021

Invitation by the ASEAN University Student Network (AUSN)

The ASEAN University Network and the AUN Pathfinder Team has previously held the “AUSN Student Consultation Workshop” on 30 November 2020 and the “AUSN Sub-annual and Working Committee Meeting” on 28 April 2021. From these two meetings, we were glad to have received good feedback regarding how the AUSN would proceed and to have created a platform for these students to connect.

Following these meetings, we are proud to announce that we are organizing the “ASEAN University Student Network (AUSN) Annual Meeting 1/2021” this year. The purpose of this meeting is to continue the process of strengthening the AUSN as a student network with some oversight by the ASEAN University Network Secretariat. It will serve as a platform for student leaders to discuss important regional issues that students can address through their own proposed activities and initiatives. By providing the youth with their own platform, we intend to empower them to bring their collective ideas into fruition.

In this meeting, we would like to introduce the future members of the AUSN with regards to its purpose and the mechanism in which it will be run. We want to train these students to become student leaders of the AUSN as they will proceed to organize activities and initiatives for the benefit of their peers in their own country and the ASEAN. As such, we would like your university to nominate four student leaders to attend the “ASEAN University Student Network (AUSN) Annual Meeting 1/2021”.

The “ASEAN University Student Network (AUSN) Annual Meeting 1/2021” will take place on 25 AUGUST 2021 at 9.00 A.M. – 12.00 P.M. (GMT+7 JAKARTA LOCAL TIME). We have attached relevant documents herewith along with the registration form for the meeting which will be held virtually via Zoom. We are excited to work with your exceptional students and look forward to seeing your selected students register for this meeting via Google Form
