A bit of background about Teesside University, the University was first established as Constantine Technical College back in 1930 to support Middlesbrough’s booming engineering and shipping industries in 1930, the college became a polytechnic in 1969 and then one of 14 new universities approved by the Privy Council in 1992.

Teesside is home to DigiCity, which has generated more than 200 new businesses and is adding more than £170 million per annum to the Teesside economy.
