Call for Nomination – Kyoto University Exchange Program (Fall 2020)
We are pleased to announce the application procedures for the exchange programs starting in Oct 2020 (Fall Semester 2020).
1) Deadline:
Nomination – January 24, 2020 (online)
Application – February 21, 2020 (online and by postal mail)

3) IMPORTANT: Changes from the last call:
– All KUINEP students will be affiliated to the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences (ILAS).

*Other than affiliation such as courses and curriculum remain unchanged.
*Transcript will be issued under the name of ILAS for all KUNIEP students.
*This change applies for students whose exchange period starts from 2020 fall, i.e. affiliation for students enrolling in 2020 spring semester remain unchanged – they will be in their current affiliation during their exchange period even if they continue their study in 2020 fall.
– Each GEA and GESR will be affiliated to one of the faculties or graduate schools as before.
4) NOTE:
– Kyoto University require all applicants to submit the Language Proficiency Statement (Form 5), including native English/Japanese speakers. (Page 4)
– Minimum number of courses for KUINEP/GE undergraduates required to take per semester has been changed to seven (instead of six). (Page 6)*
* This change has been applied for students whose exchange period starts from 2020 spring.
FYI, requirements for students enrolling in 2019 fall semester remain unchanged – they are required to take a minimum of six courses per semester during their exchange period even if they continue their study in 2020 spring.

- Motivation Letter
- Academic transcript
- TOEFL or IELTS, with minimum score of: TOEFL 550, IELTS 6,5, iBT 79
