Science Tokyo-AYSEAS 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam

Science Tokyo-AYSEAS are pleased to announce Science Tokyo-AYSEAS 2025 program!

Science Tokyo-AYSEAS is a joint educational program organized annually by Science Tokyo and partner universities to bring together students from universities in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam. Through site visits, discussions, and communication with students from different backgrounds, AYSEAS participants learn about and experience the dynamism of rapidly growing Asian countries.

This year, they will visit Vietnam, hosted by Hanoi University of Science and Technology!

Program Duration and Contents
10-day study visit to Hanoi, Vietnam September 16 – September 25, 2025
1) Site Visits (TBD: in alphabetical order)
– Hanoi University of Science and Technology
– Japan International Cooperation Agency, Vietnam
– JVB Viet Nam
– Thuyloi University
– TOTO LTD.
2) Discussion: Participants will make several groups to exchange opinions on selected topics.
3) Presentation: Each group will give a presentation on the final day.
4) Cultural Exchange: Participants will introduce their local culture to all.
5) Other: Ice-breaking party and farewell party will be held

Fees and Expenses
Program fee is exempted but participants are responsible for the cost of their:
1. Airfare
2. Accommodation (breakfast included): approximately VND6,075,000 (subject to change)
3. Travel insurance
4. Visa application fee (if applicable)
5. Personal expenses (meals, drinks, snacks, souvenirs, sightseeing etc.)
Accommodation will be a hotel twin room arranged by Science Tokyo. The bus for site visits will be arranged and paid by Science Tokyo.
