INDONESIAN HERITAGE (IN-HERIT) PROGRAMME 2023
We are pleased to inform that Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), in collaboration with Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), both from Indonesia will be hosting an international summer programme which is Indonesian Heritage (IN-HERIT) and is currently accepting applications from ATU-Net member institutions. This year, UNAIR will introduce local knowledge, tradition, and culture of medicine in East Java, especially Tengger tribe in Bromo. Meanwhile, UNS continues to do academic activities to preserve Javanese culture and empower the local communities. The activities will focus on Karanganyar, Central Java as it has main local commodities such as tea plantations, coffee, essential oils, mushroom, and traditional foods made from mushrooms and sweer potatoes/cassava. Participants are expected to learn more about cultures, heritages, and efforts to preserve, particularly Javanese through living in Javanese villages and traditional medicine.

Applicant Eligibility
- Undergraduate/Master students
- Active passport with at least 6 months validity prior to expiry
Documents to submit (Scanned) :
- Passport identity page/official id/student card
- A most recent passport photo (red, blue or white background)
- Recommendation letter from the home university (optional)
- English proficiency certificate*
- Letter of motivation (200-300 words)
