University Summer Courses in Germany for Foreign Students and Graduates • DAAD

This program serves to deepen your knowledge of the German language (general language, specialist language) and regional studies. If you are students in undergraduate courses (e.g. Bachelor’s) and Master’s courses in all disciplines and have completed at least two years of university at the start of the scholarship, then you are eligible to apply.

The scholarship covers one-off scholarship payment of EUR 1,134, payment of a country-specific travel allowance (Exception: Western Europe), health, accident, and private liability insurance benefits.

Application Documents
Certificates, proof of achievements, certificates and translations can be submitted in uncertified form. The DAAD office in Bonn reserves the right to additionally request the submitted documents from you in certified form.
Applications are made online via the DAAD portal.

Application Deadline
December 1st of each year, 11:59 p.m. (Central European Time)
Applications are possible from September 15th of each year
