Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS 2019
We are pleased to announce the start of the application period for the Tokyo Tech-Asia Young Scientist and Engineer Advanced Study Program
(Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS) 2019. This annual program is the successor to the Japan-Asia Young Scientist and Engineer Study Visit (JAYSES) program, which ran from 2007 to 2012. Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS will be held in the summer of 2019 in Bandung, Indonesia.
We would like to invite ITB students to become participant for this program.
Since this summer program is free for ITB student, you are expected to help any activity in this program.
For ITB students, we will cover:
1. Travel fares (Bandung – Jakarta – Bandung)
2. Accommodation (Jakarta and Bandung)
3. Travel insurance
4. Pocket money
Program:
10-day study visit to Indonesia (Jakarta and Bandung)
(August 27 – September 5, 2019)
(1) Site Visits: Participants will visit Indonesian and Japanese companies, government organizations, educational facilities, and research institutes, etc.
(2) Discussion: The participants will separate into several groups to exchange opinions on selected topics.
(3) Presentation: Each group will prepare a presentation after the discussion.

Application procedures:
1) Students will submit their application forms to the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS Administration Office (ayseas@jim.titech.ac.jp).

Application deadline: Monday, May 20, 2019, 24:00 Japanese Standard Time.
2) Upon receipt of ITB students’ applications, the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS Administration Office will forward the applications to IRO-ITB.
3) IRO ITB will review the applications and select candidates .
4) The selection results will be sent directly from the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS Administration Office to all applicants.
