REGISTRATION EXTENDED: Technological Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship for Economic Development (Tech-SEED) 2021

Dear all,

We are pleased to invite your students to participate in Tech-SEED 2021, a 5-day programme commencing from 20 September 2021 (Mon) to 24 September 2021 (Fri), 14:00PM to 17:00PM daily (GMT+8 Malaysia Time). The programme features keynote, workshop, lecture, mentoring and enterprise sharing sessions focusing on technological innovation and social entrepreneurship in supporting the economic development and recovery of local communities during the pandemic.

Students will have the opportunity to learn from and engage with distinguished keynote speakers from three strategic international alliances of UTM, namely Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net), Swiss-ASEAN Learning and Teaching (SALT) and ASEAN Learning Network (ALN). UTM Vice Chancellor, Prof Datuk Ts Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail as Chair of ATU-Net will deliver a keynote speech followed by the Chairs of the two other international networks. Students will also participate in an interesting line-up of lectures and workshops on Small Enterprises Management, Digital Transformation, Global Operational Excellence, Digital Brand Management, Design Thinking and Business Canvas Model. Local enterprises from Indonesia and Malaysia will also be sharing their valuable and insightful experience of managing their business entities during the pandemic and will challenge students to solve real case studies.

At the end of the programme, students will be awarded with certificate of completion and academic transcripts. Three best students will also be selected and rewarded.
