- Exchange students are provided the opportunity for a free shuttle from the airport in St. Louis, Missouri (airport code STL) to the campus in Rolla, Missouri. This is a value of $120.
- Free local shuttles are available to take students to stores within the town of Rolla
- Cultural activities and field trips are available to exchange students – most at no cost to the student. Examples include trips to St. Louis’s Gateway Arch (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gateway_Arch), a Missouri cave (http://www.americascave.com/ ), or a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game (http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=stl ), pumpkin carving at Halloween, Thanksgiving lunch in November, and our annual event Celebration of Nations in September (https://nations.mst.edu/ ).
