HUSTEP

IRO deadline: 28 Sept 2020
Course period: early April 2021 – mid Aug 2021

Eligibility:

1. Undergraduate student
2. Pay tuition fee in home university
3. Have completed 2 years of undergraduate study: mahasiswa tahun ketiga
4. GPA 3-4
5. English proficiency test score: minimum TOEFL iBT 79 or IETLS 6.5

Have a chance to join the JASSO scholarship selection process (monthly stipend of 80,000 yen)

Special Audit Student (SAS) -for undergraduate student

Deadline IRO: Oct 6, 2020
Course: Spring semester: April 1, 2021 – Sept 30, 2021
Fall semester: October 1, 2021 – March 30, 2022

Description: Half year or full year programs in which students are assigned to a particular School and take classes related to their majoring field, learning with full-time students

Eligibility:

1. High academic records in the field of desired faculty
2. Equivalent to JLPT level N2 or higher
3. Enrolled as a full-time student at home university during exchange program

Special Audit Student (SAS) – for Graduate student

IRO deadline: Oct 6, 2020
Course: Spring semester: April 1, 2021 – Sept 30, 2021
Fall semester: October 1, 2021 – March 30, 2022

Description: Half year or full year programs in which students are assigned to a particular graduate school and take classes related to their specialized area together with full-time students

Eligibility:

1. High academic records in the field of desired faculty
2. Equivalent to JLPT level N2 or higher (depending on a graduate school)
3. Enrolled as a full-time student at home university during exchange program

Special Research Student (SRS) – for Graduate student

IRO deadline: Oct 6, 2020
Course: Spring semester: April 1, 2021 – Sept 30, 2021
Fall semester: October 1, 2021 – March 30, 2022

Description: Half year or full year programs in which students are assigned to a graduate school to engage in their research under supervision of their instructor, working with regular students from same study field. 

Eligibility:

1. High academic records in the field of desired graduate school
2. English or Japanese fluency to communicate with academic supervisor

Before applying, student contact a professor to request academic supervisor and receive unofficial agreement
