Hokkaido University President’s Fellowship
Hokkaido University President‘s Fellowship for 2023. Hokkaido University offers this fellowship to HU inter-university partners with whom we seek to develop stronger ties.
Self-supported international students with excellent academic records as well as a strong interest in Hokkaido University and in Japanese culture are eligible to apply.
In principle, the monthly stipend will not be paid during the period that research students study in their home country, and it will be started after they arrive in Japan. However, for regular students, monthly stipend will be provided even during the period when they study in their home country. Please note that this policy may be changed by the epidemic situation of COVID-19.

Applicants need to be nominated by IRO ITB.
