NIDA Summer Camp on "Suistainable Tourism"

National Institute of Development Administration Thailand will organize the 3rd NIDA Summer Camp on “Suistainable Tourism” wich will be held from June 17-26, 2014 at NIDA Bangkok Thailand.

The activity  is  open  for  overseas  and domestic  students with any  academic  backgrounds. The  highlights  of the  program  include  a  welcome  reception  party, academic  sessions,  Thai  language  course, a field  trip  Ayutthaya Province -the second  capital  of Thailand from 1351-1767,  which  is  well known  as one  of  Thailand’s  historical  sites. Last  but  not least, a farewell party  will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima  Province.

NIDA will provide services include accommodation, food and drink, local travel expenses, admission to all the activities, entrance fees, activities materials, and personal insurance. In addition to aforementioned benefits, participants will be responsible for paying their round-trip airfare.

Qualifications  and Registration  Requirements:

1. An applicant  must be an undergraduate student  studying  in  the  third  year  or fourth  year or  a graduate  student.
2. An applicant must  submit  verification  of undergraduate  or graduate  study including  the most  recent  official  transcript  and  a confirmation  letter  from  your institute.
3. An  applicant  must submit  an essay  -minimum  1,000  words- on  the  topic  below: “Strategies  and  Challenges for  pursuing  sustainable  tourism  in  your  country”
4. An applicant  must  be able  to  speak  English.
5. An applicant  must  be in  good health  with  no  infectious  or contagious  disease.
6. An applicant  must  prepare  a national  costume  for  a performance  at a reception  Party.
7. Deadline  for  application  submission  is  March 7, 2014.
8. An  applicant  must  send  the  registration  form  including  required  documents  via  Email address  at  nidasummercamp3@gmail.com  and  by airmail at **NIDA address**
9. An Applicant  will be considered  based  on the  quality of a written  essay  and  personal academic  record.
10. Announcement  of successful  accepted  applicants will be  posted  on April 3 ,2014 at http://oia.  nida.ac.th
