Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program April 2026 Enrollment

Kyoto University is pleased to announce the application for Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP) for April 2026 enrollment.This scholarship is intended for students who expect to enroll as a regular (degree-seeking) student in a master’s degree program,  professional degree program, or the first year of a five-year doctoral program at a graduate school of Kyoto University in April 2026.

Application guidelines for October 2026 are expected to be available around February 2026, with the application period likely to be around April

Details:
Students who wish to apply for this scholarship should apply directly
– Application Period: 4 November – 13 November 2025 (Closes at 5:00 p.m. Japan Time)
– Applicants must pass the entrance examination of the relevant graduate school in addition to applying for the AFLSP.
– Admission procedures vary by graduate school, and in some cases, applications to the graduate school must be submitted before the AFLSP application period.
