The ASEAN University Network (AUN) is a collaborative network of leading universities across Southeast Asia that aims to enhance the quality of higher education and promote regional integration. It serves as a platform for academic cooperation, policy dialogue, and joint research among member institutions in the ASEAN region.
On July 24–25, 2025, the 16th AUN Rectors’ Meeting and the 40th AUN Board of Trustees (AUN-BOT) Meeting were held at Diamond Hotel, Manila, Philippines. The event was jointly hosted by De La Salle University and the University of the Philippines.
With the theme “From Networks to Impact: The Future of Global Higher Education”, the meeting focused on strengthening multilateral partnerships, cross-border initiatives, and sustainable international collaboration. University leaders and stakeholders from AUN member institutions gathered to explore solutions and future directions for global higher education.
