We’re thrilled to invite you to our annual Summer School Program on Digitalized Heritage and Culture (SS-DHC), where you’ll discover a vibrant mix of modern multimedia technology and timeless local traditions.31 July to 13 August 2023, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich local culture of Terengganu. Our expert faculty members will guide you through a range of courses designed to expand your knowledge of multimedia technology, video editing, and mathematical concepts, all while exploring the unique cultural heritage of Terengganu. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit some of the most stunning landmarks in Terengganu, including: Terengganu Cultural Village: The “Living” Museum of Terengganu Heritage and Culture The Astonishing Crystal Mosque: A breathtaking mosque with crystal domes and minarets Lambosari: A village where you can explore and experience the local culture Traditional Boat Making & Longuet Library at Duyong Island: Discover the ancient art of boat making and explore a beautiful library China Town: Visit the vibrant and bustling Chinatown for a taste of the local culture Pasar Payang: A bustling market with local crafts, clothing, and food Redang Island: A beautiful island with a sea turtle conservation and research center
Located in the heart of Terengganu, UMT is a hub for world-class education and research. Our stunning coastal campus is situated on the idyllic beaches of the South China Sea, providing the perfect backdrop for your summer adventure. During your two-week stay fromOur courses are designed to provide a hands-on, immersive experience. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art technology and equipment, including multimedia labs, video editing software, and augmented reality tools. And when you’re not busy learning, you can explore the stunning natural beauty of Terengganu, with its pristine beaches, tropical islands, and lush rainforests.The program fee is only USD 400, which includes everything you’ll need during your stay, including program kits, scheduled meals, field trips, local transportation, and accommodations. All you need to cover is your roundtrip flight ticket, visa (if needed), personal expenses, and travel insurance.
