2017/2018 HBT Program Application Package from SIT
Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan have finalized 2017/2018 HBT Program Application Guidelines and professors’ profile, attached data version of them.
The deadline of the application forms is January 27, 2017.
a) The living allowance for both M+D and D course will include a scholarship and reward for Teaching Assistant work.
b) HBT applicants MUST contact a potential supervisor at SIT and obtain tentative acceptance in his/her laboratory by February 10, 2017 before the application deadline.
c) The schedule for D course has changed as the same one as M+D course, which means that applicants for D course will take an entrance examination via TV conference and only successful candidates come to Japan in early September 2017.
d) As for D course, SIT had provided a financial support (JPY120,000) for the final candidates from their arrival (early August) to the official enrollment (October 1st), however this support system will be abolished in HBT 2017/2018 due to the modification of the schedule of D course. In other words, HBT 2017/2018 successful applicants for both M+D and D course will obtain their first scholarship in October 2017.
e) The document of “Fields and Supervisors for HBT” is attached as an appendix. This document is for SEATUC member universities use only, since it includes the supervisors’ email addresses and some of them are not disclosed publicly, therefore please avoid uploading it in the web.

- TOEFL or IELTS, with minimum score of: TOEFL 550, IELTS 6,5, iBT 100
- Motivation Letter

Please submit the requirements above to the International Relation Office ITB, Jalan Ganesha No. 17, Bandung due to 27 January 2017, at 14.00 WIB, for further selection process.
