2018 UBC Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) Invitation
2018 UBC Vancouver Summer Program (VSP). UBC is a world-renowned institution consistently ranked among the top 40 research universities in the world. The VSP is a 4-week academic program offered by UBC for students from cooperating universities to study at Vancouver campus. This program provides the opportunity for students to take 2 academic courses in various UBC Faculties, while being exposed to Canadian practices and culture. In 2017, the VSP was well received by over 2000 students from over 220 different universities with very positive feedback.
In 2018, the Vancouver Summer Program will run in two different sessions:
JUNE 3, 2018 – JULY 3, 2018
Registration Deadline: February 28th, 2018
Cost: $5,100 Canadian dollars (includes two courses, course materials, medical insurance, group airport transfers and city tour, shared accommodation June 3 – July 3, 2018, orientation and farewell events, socio-cultural activities)
Course Packages offered: 16 different packages in the areas of Applied Science, Architecture, Arts, Business, Community and Regional Planning, Education, Forestry, Medicine, and also Science
JULY 14, 2018 – AUGUST 14, 2018
Registration Deadline: March 30, 2018
Cost: $5,100 Canadian dollars (includes two courses, course materials, medical insurance, group airport transfers and city tour, shared accommodation July 14 – August 14, 2018, orientation and farewell events, socio-cultural activities)
Course Packages offered: 57 different packages in the areas of Applied Science, Architecture, Arts, Business, Community and Regional Planning, Dentistry, Education, Forestry, Kinesiology, Land and Food Systems, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Science, Earth Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, and Integrated Sciences

English proficiency test scores are not required. However, students should be proficient in English and have a strong academic background. Academic credits for the courses may be granted by the students’ home university at its discretion. Students will join participants from other universities to study the same package.
We encourage students to register early in order for them to secure their package preference and obtain a visitor visa in time, if required. In the case where there are a total of 24 participants from the home university.
