TU Berlin Summer University
The Technische Universitat Berlin has just launched “TU Berlin Summer University,” and in July and August of 2015 students from all over the world will participate in the inaugural program.
The Technische Universitat Berlin are proud to be offering ten concurrent courses in this first year, giving students a wide portfolio of academic fields to choose from: Whether satellite design or epistemology, social media marketing or the Berlin startup scene, all of the Summer University courses will feature both academic and hands-on practical coursework and will be taught in English.
Though the classes themselves will mainly take place on the campus, located in the heart of Berlin, visits to course-relevant sites in the city will also be integrated into the curriculum. For the final week of the program, all students can participate in a Career Week, which will focus on intercultural training, international networking, and leadership training. immediately before the start of the academic Summer School program, The Technische Universitat Berlin will offer a two-week optional introductory German language course (no prior experience required) that falls under the A1.1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Students who successfully complete the program will receive 5 ECTS credit points (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System), plus 1 additional credit point for the optional German language course. All 6 ECTS points can easily be transferred to your institution’s credit system.
