The Okazaki Kaheita International Scholarship Foundation, Japan

The Okazaki Kaheita International Scholarship Foundation (The Foundation) was established in March 1990 to contribute to world peace and development by fostering people from the countries in Asia. This foundation strives to promote mutual understanding and international exchange as well as to pay homage to and immortalize the spirit of Okazaki Kaheita, a man who worked for mutual understanding, peace, and world friendship. In order to promote friendship between Japan and Asian countries and to further the personal development of people in these countries, the foundation provides scholarships to students from Asian countries who wish to study in graduate schools in Japan.

We are inviting applicants who shall be qualified to purse a course of study and research, with Japanese as the medium of instruction, in a master’s course at a Japanese university. For more detail info regarding the program, please check this Scholarship Guide.

Nomination should be made by IRO ITB. Thus, please send the followings to iro@itb.ac.id by Friday, 10 January 2025 at 10.00 am WIB: 
1. Academic Transcript (English)
2. CV/Resume
3. Valid English/Japanese Proficiency Certificate
4. Any academic/non academic achievements
5. Motivation letter (Describe your relevant experiences, qualifications, and career aspiration)
Only successful applicants will be notified by IRO by mid of January 2025.

Application procedure to the foundation:
1. ITB nominates 2 students only.
2. The nominated students will be notified of the required documents and have them prepared.
3. The required documents are sent or mailed to The International Relations Office (Jl. Ganesha No. 17) by Wednesday, 29 January 2025.
