Hongkong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2013/14

The Research Grants Councils (RGC) of the Hongkong University Grants Committee are committed to promoting world-class research in Hongkong. Through our PhD Fellowship, Hongkong’s outstanding universities offer research opportunities in a broad range of PhD programs, with generous stipends and excellent support for the best and brightest students in the world.

Who Can Apply
Candidates seeking admission as new full-time PhD students in the eight institutions overleaf, irrespective of their country of origin, prior work experience, and ethnic backround.

About the Award
The Fellpwship will providw a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (approx. US$2,600) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approx. US$1,300) per year up to three years. About 135 PhD Fellowship will be awarded  in the 2013/14 academic year.
