Edutourism At UTeM: Malaysia – Diversity in Nature
This program is an initiative to provide a unique learning experience through educational tours to various interesting destinations in Malaysia. It is not only an opportunity to learn new things but also to travel and explore fascinating places with fellow university friends. There are two (2) programs offered as listed below:
1. Program : Edutourism At UTeM: Malaysia – Diversity in Nature
Synopsis: Edutourism At UTeM: Malaysia – Diversity in Nature is a captivating exploration program about one of the world’s ecologically rich countries. This program offers an immersive experience of the local culture and the uniqueness of Malaysia’s tropical environment.
This program will be conducted physically, including visits to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Melaka. It also provides a village experience through a homestay program with host families. This program offers a unique combination of history and sustainability, inspiring participants about the natural and cultural diversity in Malaysia.

2. Program : Edutourism At UTeM: Tradition Transformed – Bridging Heritage and Innovation
Synopsis: Edutourism At UTeM: Tradition Transformed – Bridging Heritage and Innovation is a captivating journey where the past meets the future, exploring how technology and innovation revive ancient traditions. This hybrid program enables participants to develop knowledge and understanding of Malaysia’s multicultural society and cultural diversity while exploring technical expertise through practical sessions.
The program includes language learning sessions, guided tours of historical sites, interactions with local communities, and practical technical classes. By participating in this program, participants witness the marvels of traditions transformed through preserved heritage, emerging technologies, and technical knowledge.

Application Deadline:
1. The deadline for applications is 10 August 2024 or until the quota is filled, whichever comes first.
2. The final confirmed list of participants will be announced by Centre for International Students and Mobility on 14 August 2024.
