Ajou International Summer School (AISS) 2025

We are excited to share that the AISS program (Ajou International Summer School) opens for application.
 
Throughout the program, participants will have the exclusive opportunity to experience K-Culture through diverse activities. Additionally, We would offer a total of 4 courses, with students selecting 2 courses to earn a total of 6 credits. 
 
We believe that the participation of ITB students and its influential role in the academic community could significantly contribute to the success of this initiative.
 
All the students from partner university (ITB included) can receive a 30% tuition fee scholarship. 

Ajou International Summer School
Program Period: July 2-July 24, 20254
Participants in 2025 AISS will join the programs provided by Ajou University as outlined below.
K-Culture Activity

  • Theme Park (Everland)
  • Field trip to East Sea
  • K-POP Dance Class
  • Traditional Cooking Class
  • Suwon Hwaseong Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage) and more 

    Classes (6 credits)

  • Macroeconomic Development   OR
  • Data Analysis and Business decision Making
  • Sustainability OR
  • Korean Language

The selection of course combination
– You can choose the following combination.

  • Type 1 : Macroeconomic Development & Sustainability 
  • Type 2 : Macroeconomic Development & Korean Language 
  • Type 3 : Data Analysis and Business Decision Making & Sustainability
  • Type 4 : Data Analysis and Business Decision Making & Korean Language

– You cannot choose following combination (the classes are at the same time zone)

  • Macroeconomic Development & Data Analysis and Business Decision Making
  • Sustainability & Korean Language

Nomination by IRO ITB
To sign up for the program, please prepare the following documents and apply through this application form by 30 April 2025:
1. Latest English official academic transcript
2. English Proficiency Test (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or any)
3. Valid passport
4. Financial Guarantee Letter. Template here.
5. Health Guarantee Letter. Template here.
6. Recommendation Letter from Head of Study Program addressed to Director of Partnerships ITB (free format)
*Only successful applicant(s) will be notified of their nomination by 9 May 2025.
Once students are nominated by IRO ITB, application link will be sent only to the nominated students.
