18th ASIA OCEANIA TOP UNIVERSITY LEAGUE ON ENGINEERING (AOTULE) “ENGINEERING FOR SUSTAINABILITY” INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG

Overview
The 18th AOTULE Conference will be hosted by Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) from 6-8 November 2024, bringing together engineering leaders and students from top universities across Asia and Oceania. Under the theme “Engineering for Sustainability,” this year’s event will focus on innovative and practical approaches to addressing the critical environmental challenges of our time.

The conference will comprise two main events:

• Dean’s Meeting: Engineering deans from leading universities in the AOTULE network will gather to discuss strategic directions in engineering education, research, and sustainability initiatives across the Asia-Oceania region.
• Student Workshop on Sustainability: Engineering students will participate in an immersive workshop, exploring sustainable solutions and innovative engineering practices to address global challenges. This hands-on experience will foster cross-cultural teamwork, creativity, and a commitment to sustainable development.

Founded in 2007, the Asia-Oceania Top University League on Engineering (AOTULE) is a prestigious network that unites leading engineering institutions from across Asia and Oceania. AOTULE aims to foster collaboration in engineering education and research, enabling member universities to address shared challenges through joint initiatives, workshops, and conferences. Over the years, AOTULE has become a vital platform for encouraging cross-border collaboration and promoting academic excellence.
