Youth in Agroecology Event Invitation

Nuffic Neso Indonesia and DeTara Foundation arrange an online Agroecology training programme titled “Taking Care of Our Food and Earth in the Present & Future” for youth (16-19 years old) in Southeast Asia and Bangladesh. The training program is part of our “EmpoweringYouth4Food” campaign programme that has been conducted by Nuffic Neso and NL Alumni Indonesia & Vietnam since 2020 to foster young participation in sustainable agriculture and food systems.

The event is part of an awareness campaign to encourage young people in Southeast Asia and Bangladesh to get more involved in the future of agriculture.

The target participants for this event are:

1.      High school students or first-year students with a maximum age of 19 years. If there are participants who are interested in joining but having an age above the requirements, the committee will accept the participant as long as the participant is not more than 22 years of age.

2.      Currently domiciled in Southeast Asia and Bangladesh.

3.      Eager to be part of sustainable agriculture in the present and the future.

4.      Have a strong motivation to learn agroecology.
