Visa Inbound Procedures

Phase 1: Pre-Arrival

Ensure a smooth entry into Indonesia by following the mandatory administrative steps. From obtaining your Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to visa issuance, these steps must be completed before your arrival to ITB.

Phase 2: Post-Arrival

Welcome to Bandung! After your arrival, there are several essential administrative procedures you must complete to legalize your stay and ensure your documents are up to date during your time at ITB.

Phase 3: Visa Extension

For students and guests staying longer than their initial permit allows, a visa extension is required. To ensure a seamless legal stay, please prepare all necessary documentation and follow the timelines strictly to avoid overstay penalties.

Your Extension must be processed 2 MONTHS before your Stay Permit (ITAS) expires.

Note for KNB Students: A separate set of procedures will be informed regarding passport extension.

Phase 4: Exit Permit (EPO)

The Exit Permit Only (EPO) is a mandatory procedure to officially close your stay permit before you leave Indonesia. Failing to complete this process may lead to administrative complications for your future visits to the country.

Apply for EPO 7-10 DAYS before your return flight.

  • Application Form No. 27 (provided by Immigration Office)
  • Printed Copy of Indonesian ID Card of Sponsor*
  • Printed Copy of Valid Passport
  • Printed Copy of Valid ITAS
  • Original Passport
