University of Electro-Communications (UEC) MEXT Scholarship October 2026 Intake Online Info Session 20 September 2025

UEC (University of Electro-Communications) will hold a briefing session on recruitment for Japanese government scholarship programs (MEXT) for enrollment in October 2026. To provide information directly to students, UEC will hold an online briefing session via Zoom. The topics, outline, dates and times of the sessions are listed below.

Outline:
GECHA, a scholarship Special Program authorized by MEXT
The GECHA program is a degree-seeking graduate program with full scholarships offered by the Graduate School of Informatics and Engineering at UEC.
The GECHA program (launched in 2024) has been selected as a Scholarship Special Program by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

The scholarship covers:
– Living expenses
– Entrance and tuition fees
– Round-trip travel between the student’s home country and Japan (provided at the time of admission and upon completion
