Sato Yo Scholarship 2026 – Shibaura Institute of Technology
Shibaura Institute of Technology is pleased to announce the Sato Yo Scholarship 2026 for student taking Course-Taking Sandwich Program 2026 Fall to 2027 Spring!
Program Content:
Course-taking sandwich program allow students to take courses at Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) and the main activity of the program is taking courses taught in English. The courses cover most of the field of engineering. Students can take courses from from any field regardless of their major and level (undergraduate or postgraduate) at the home university if students meet the prequisites of each course.
*Japanese-based course
The courses for the Course-Taking Sandwich Program are in English except for the Japanese language courses taught in Japanese if the student has N2 level or above for JLPT.

1. Scholarship; JPY 150,000 per month
2. One-time Exchange Program Grant: JPY 100,000
3. Round trip ticket fee
4. Transportation fee from the airport to the accommodation upon arrival in Japan
Eligibility:
1. Be an undergraduate or graduate student of a university (ITB)
2. Have a GPA of 3.00 or above on a 4.00 scale at the home university
3. Must NOT be receiving scholarships from other organizations
4. Have a good command of English* (CEFR B2 equivalent or higher)
5. Be physically and mentally healthy (Health checkup and health certificate will be required after you got accepted by SIT officially)
6. Register for more than 6-period (600 minutes) of courses per week for the entire semester
