ITB at the AUN-QA International Conference 2025
Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) joined the ASEAN University Network (AUN) as a core member in 2007. Since then, ITB has been actively participating in various AUN initiatives, notably the AUN-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) network. In December 2008, two of ITB’s undergraduate study programs—Physics and Pharmacy—underwent evaluation during the 4th AUN-QA Program Assessment.
Beyond program evaluations, several ITB faculty members serve as certified AUN-QA assessors. Currently, three prominent professors actively contribute to AUN-QA Program Assessments, Institutional Assessments, and Training sessions: Prof. Satria Bijaksana (former Head of SPM ITB, 2006–2009), Prof. Pepen Arifin (former Head of SPM ITB, 2015–2019), and Prof. Suprijadi Harijono (current Head of SPM ITB).
Furthermore, Prof. Satria Bijaksana has served as a member of the AUN-QA Council since 2018 and was appointed as one of the three Deputy Chairpersons of AUN-QA in 2022. ITB has also regularly participated in the annual AUN-QA International Conference since 2016.
