Exploring Korean Culture and Academics: Dama’s Ajou Winter School Experience
Dama shared his experience joining the Ajou University in which he gets to experience a combination of interactive academic classes and immersive cultural activities!
To begin with, Ajou International School (AIWS) is a short program combining interactive academics with hands-on cultural experiences to explore Korean culture and society. Dama, from Ocean Engineering, joined the program driven by his strong interest in South Korea, seeking firsthand engagement with Korean society through academic learning and immersive cultural activities.

One of the most memorable parts of Dama's experience was visiting Gyeongbokgun Palace and joined a one-day trip tp Gangneung, a coastal city. These activities allowed him to engage directly with Korean history, culture, and everyday life beyond the classroom.
During the program, Dama also gained practical insight into Korean politics, experiencing how political systems operate notonly in theory but also in real-world practice.
