Course of Description:
The program combines Lasallian Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation with a focus on food security. Lasallian Social Entrepreneurship is a multi-sectoral, multidisciplinary, and innovative approach to development that aims to address community social problems by utilizing concrete and inclusive business models anchored in the principles of sustainable development. This definition is guided by three elements, namely:
1. Inclusive Ownership Structure; inclusion of community members in the ownership structure of social enterprises as co-owners and not just mere beneficiaries, laboreres, or suppliers
2. Quality Participation; equitable participation of community members, students, and other stakeholders from the planning up to the business operation stage of the social enterprises
3. Equitable valuation; proper valuation of non-monetary contributions of all stakeholders of the community social enterprises.

Objectives:
1. To introduce students from the ASEAN region to the concept and application of SDG Localization through Lasallian Social Entrepreneurship.
2. Trace and analyze the stages of the food supply chain from production to consumption.
3. Reflect on the socio-economic, technological, and environmental factors influencing the food system.
4. Identify opportunities for innovation and policy improvement in the agricultural value chain.
5. Know the basic construction of an aquaponics system.
6. Identify opportunities for innovation and policy improvement in the agricultural value chain.
7. Articulate the challenges faced by producers, distributors, and consumers, as well as their proposed solutions.
