AUN Summer Camp 2026 at Universiti Brunei Darussalam – Tides of Tomorrow: Reimagining Coastal Cities

Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), in collaboration with the ASEAN University Network (AUN), is pleased to invite nominations for the UBD-AUN Summer Camp 2026!

This immersive, in-person short-term programme brings together undergraduate students from AUN member universities to explore contemporary regional and global challenges through academic exchange, cultural engagement, and experiential learning.

Accomodation Information:
Participants will be housed at The Core Residential College within the UBD Campus. The accommodation style is apartment-like, designed for a single-gender group of five students to share one apartment unit. Each participant will be allocated a single, air-conditioned study bedroom. The apartment features communal areas including a toilet, kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities for shared use among the occupants.
Facilities Provided:
• Single, air-conditioned bedroom with study desk, chair, wardrobe, linen, blanket, pillow.
• Shared living room, kitchen, and laundry facilities. However, participants are required to bring their towels and toiletries.
• 24/7 security and CCTV monitoring.
• WiFi access (upon request).
• Elevator access for persons with different abilities. Residential Amenities
• A small convenience store: For small basic necessities and snacks.
• Automated Teller Machines (ATMs): Accept a wide range of card types such as Visa, MasterCard, and UnionPay.
• Food Court: Offering a variety of local and international cuisines, including café, boba tea shop, and frozen yoghurt shop.
• Self-service coin laundry: For your laundry needs including dryer.
• Free shuttle service between The Core and Rimba Point (nearby shopping complex) every day from 10 am to 10:30 pm (with 1-hour intervals).
Eligibility:
1. Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate programme
2. Be officially nominated by IRO ITB
3. Demonstrate interest in the theme of the programme, particularly in issues related to coastal cities, climate resilience, and sustainable development
4. Be able to participate actively in English, as the programme will be conducted in English
