ATU-NET STUDENT PROGRAMMES > CALLING FOR PARTICIPATION

Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net) is calling for student participations for these five following activities:
1) ATU-NET HACKATHON 2021
 
ATU-Net Hackathon 2021 is organised by ATU-Net and hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), targeting students from ICT, Engineering, Management and Business academic background to participate. Great networking sessions with students from other countries, learning opportunities via webinar sessions and mentoring are curated especially to help guide students towards becoming the champion. All teams will stand a chance to win cash prizes and the champion will have a special slot to present their winning idea at the University Presidents Forum this year. Details of the programme are as follows:

2) STUDENT SDG VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS: ENVISIONING 17 SDGS FOR 2030
 
Hosted by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia, Student SDG Virtual Workshops: Envisioning 17 SDGs for 2030 aims to increase students’ knowledge on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)to encourage collaborative thinking and to develop critical elements on the 17 SDGs. Students will get the opportunities to enhance their understanding and skills while collaborating with students from international universities. Details of the programme are as follows:

3) VIRTUAL ASIA EXPLORATION (VAx) BATCH 2
 
Emphasising on Culture and History and Technology and Engineering, Virtual Asia Exploration (VAx) Batch 2 is calling for students of ATU-Net member institutions to participate in this virtual mobility programme. Six host universities from Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia collaborate to conduct the 14-week lecture and evaluate students’ individual reports, group projects and presentationsCertificate of Completion and transcript will be awarded to participants who attend more than 80 per cent of the classes and satisfy all the assessments. Details of the programme are as follows:

4)TECH-SEED 2021
 
Technological Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship for Economic Development (Tech-SEED 2021) is a joint programme between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia and Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Indonesia. This programme focuses on technological innovation and social entrepreneurship in supporting economic development and recovery of local communities during the global crisis. Keynote sessions will be delivered by distinguished keynote speakers from three strategic alliances which are Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net)Swiss Asian Learning and Teaching (SALT) and ASEAN Learning Network (ALN). Students will be awarded with certificates of completion and academic transcriptsThree best students will be selected and rewarded at the end of the programme. Details of the programme are as follows:

5) VIRTUAL MOBILITY PROGRAM – TEEN-IDEAS 2021
 
Teen-IDEAS 2021 is a collaboration initiative between Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia. This programme puts emphasis on understanding selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)discussing its issues and applications and sharing thoughts and perspectives from other institutions. Interviews will be conducted to select qualified presenters and audience and seats are limited. Every participant will be awarded with an e-certificate at the end of the programme. Details of the programme are as follows:
